Quick Update: Country Championship

The first Country Championship Season in GTA:SA was announced a few weeks ago and today we are making a quick update on which National Teams this Country Championship will be composed and when it will start.

National Teams - Information

This Country Championship will still be composed of 16 national teams
These 16 teams will be randomly split in 4 groups and will have to fight their way up on the groups phase.
The first 2 teams of each group will pass on the playoffs and fight their way to the final.

Czech Republic & Slovakia Team Captain: JOGABONITO

United Kingdom Team Captain: SHEN

Germany Team Captain: pissaC

Italy Team Captain: QWERT

Poland Team Captain: blajnd

Portugal Team Captain: phaze

Match Rules and Informations

Start: Wednesday 15/08/2012 16:00 CET. Each match/round has 7 days to be completed.

Why we decided to change the date?
We feel that the teams/players are not ready yet to start the Country Championship and with the addiction of a new National Team we decided to delay this Premiership giving time to players practice and add the last players to their teams.

Mode:

Teams : Each national team can only have 10 players.
Game-mode: Attack and Defend (A/D).
Type: Random Bases.
Line-up: 5 on 5
Checkpoint : 25 seconds.
Rounds : 8 on groups phase; 7 (6 bases + 1 arena) on playoffs.
Round time : 8 minutes
Swapping : Teams are automatically swapped each round.
Weapon Rules: Only 1 Spaz-12 and 1 Sniper allowed per team.
FPS : 25 < allowed < 100
Ping limit : 150ms for normal encounters (EUvsEU, America vs America), 250ms for intercontinental encounters (EUvsAmerica).
