Oh i got yer. That little temp meter is just for looks really i use SpeedFan(Download link) with a little monitoring gadget(Download link) for windows 7 instead. Looks like that:

You can use the software for controlling fan speeds too but meh... since i dont have problems with loudness, auto is fine.
